OK, hello and welcome.
This is a quickie blog for those new to the whole joel scene who might inadvertantly stumble across this site when looking for porno and/or pictures of kevin. I made a quick website tonight while trying to figure out some html/java and I'm not really happy with the way it turned out, but that's the consequence of venturing forth without a concrete plan, so there you go. The theme of the pages you're going to see on this page is pretty much "big crappy pictures of me" and I think that's obvious from the front-page which is a piss-poor scan of a piss-poor photo, blown up to an obscene size which serves the purpose of pissing off brent and any other competent web-designers/mac-users, but that's why god created the internet.
Meanwhile across town...
I'm reading the hobbit, which is giving me some old-school dork-points, but more importantly it's giving me my mind back. I've spent alot of time over the past year or so content to catch pokemon all day, but reading has an effect of making my brain want to think and feel. I get my inner-narrative back, and it feels real good. I think that happens alot with any type of media though, I get inspired to have my own adventures instead of living vicariously. Now let's just hope I get around to actually doing that soon. Anyhow, now I'm leaving because I have been at the computer too long and I'm developing a crack down the left portion of my skull. Figuratively of course.
