They call me dad...

Things have been looking up recently,. despite what has been going on according to Kevin. Kevin hates his new job, he's quitting it before he gets paid, because he doesn't want to be a door-to-door salesman. Erica had a bunch of trouble at school and had to deal with a bunch of crap trying to registering for classes. I was there watching but it was a pain in the patoot. I however, still hae my interview on Monday and that's good news. We're all hanging out at the house, drinking our sorrows away and trying to make up lyrics for a rap-song, and you know how that can go. Kevin calls me dad.

Could this be the untimely end of unemployment/Milhouse?

I've got a job interview lined up for Monday with Nextel, one of the big cellular companies around here. There's no telling whether I'll actually get it or not, but it's raised some eyebrows in the back of my mind. It'd be good because it's in Maryland (near where Erica will be going to school) and it's not a defense-contractor (although if they were supplying cell-phones to the army I don't think I'd quit in disgust.. Unless they were cell-phone-grenades or something). We'll see what happens, I think I'm ready to go back to work. I haven't made a Flash resume yet, but I've made some cool Flash stuff, which you'll see soon enough.

Not quite soon enough...

I advise you to download virtual joel and keep him constantly running on your desktop as a sort of virtual pet. Sure, he won't do anything cool like eat or grow or die, but it is probably therapeutic to take some of the stress in your life and redirect it into positive energy by commanding a lil' me to jump on a whim. I changed the layout of the blog-site a few days ago but you couldn't see it because I changed the wrong version (I changed the original, not the copied "index.html") so NOW it should be running up to par. I hope you like!

Welcome to the changed site.

Lil' Changes
Made some new adjustments to the fashion of the blog-site, but there's more changes on the way. I've accomplished so much since I last let you in on my Flash progress and I hope to give you something more to see soon, but I'm holding out until marriage. The marriage of me and a fully finished nice-looking page that is! Shoo-boy...

I've been sleeping in late lately, and there's no real good reason that I can think of. Maybe it's a natural winter instinct, or maybe the sheets I put on the windows to keep the heat in make it too dark in the room for my eyes to realize that Morning has Broken. Whatever the case, I'm losing time, and that's always disconcerting. I have a plan on the horizon now which includes looking for a job. Now that my Flash learning is at a plateau, I'm going to try to make a nice looking Flash resume, revamp my old resume with a new design, and then set out towards a life of greatness. It'll all be great. Everything, my future, your future, and especially your children's future, because I'm going to eat them. I'll write more when I can make sense.
