D+D Party Weekend

Tomorrow Erica and Dave and I are going up to see Adam and Jen in New Jersey to visit, laugh, have fun, and play Dungeons and Dragons. I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to rule. However, I may not write anything here over the weekend because of it. Don't let it get you down.

nice weather

I've been getting outside more often lately in an attempt to recondition my body to the outside world. I wouldn't want to get a job somewhere and arrive there only to fall to the ground clutching my throat, unable to breath air outside of 747 Girard St. So, Yesterday ERica and I went down to see the Cherry-blossoms blooming around the Monuments and everything looked real nice. We even saw a little japanese girl wearing a Pikachu-backpack and we followed them until I could get a picture with ERica AND the pikachu in the same picture. Erica thought it was creepy of us, but I thought it was awesome. Then, last night, everyone living in the house (Erica Kevin and me) went to play frisbee golf. I took plenty of pictures yesterday, so rest assured you'll be seeing them in a week or so and adding more visual information about my life to your database to make living my life vicariously that much easier. Here, you can even share another dream of mine.

Everytime I miss Steve malkmus, all I have to do, is dreeeeam, dream dream dream...

Last night I had a dream. It was in the house I'm living in now, but in california, and Jackie and Kristy were visiting and making some claymation-style movie but with real people, and I had a big zit under my nostril that I was picking and it was bleeding all over, and Steve Malkmus was living in Kevin's room upstairs and doing secret shows every day but I hadn't seen them yet. So, I went upstairs to ask him to let me see one of his shows and he went in the bathroom and got in the shower and peed and sang a song that went "no show until tomorrow" but it was more like a chant. He was acting like a nice guy who wanted me to see his show but at the same time he was acting koo-koo.

Two dreams worth remembering in two days.

Critical Mass

I've been enjoying the past couple of days. I have been playing drums and sending out about 6-7 resumes a day (totalling 12-14 so far!) and basically just avoiding being on the computer for too terribly long. I renewed my efforts to read the 2nd LordOfTheRings book and I am also trying to get my Diablo 2 character up to level 30 so he can reanimate the dead, so I lead a busy life. I appreciate the feedback I got from people about the new website. Everyone said they liked it, so I'm not totally sure what I can do to make it better, but I do appreciate any input I receive, so I thank you for writing.

I dug a hole to china

Last night I dreamt I was working at a pizza place (one I had never worked at, but it was sortof a cross between the two I have worked at) and it was just me and another dude. We talked and made pizzas and it seemed to go on like that for a while. Then I called the owner who was Erica's dad, and I told him I had to leave work early to go tour the FBI for a field trip for the class I was taking that he was teaching. So, it didn't make sense that he wouldn't know. He acted like any boss acts when you tell him you need to leave early, and was like "Well, we'll see..." Then we got slammed and we had three fullsize ovens I I saw all the hoorible things that you see when you're slammed, like pizzas with huge bubbles in them and pizzas that fall off the end of the oveen-track onto the floor. The point is, why would I have a stressful dream about working pizza?

Everything has been put into motion. I've uploaded the new page and emailed everyone I thought might want to see it, so now it's time to relax and move on to things like resumes and The Reduced Website. Not now though... Now it's time for a nice warm shower and a pat on the back. Let me know what you think of the new site though. Daylight What?!??!

OK, here's the deal. Day 4 of the drunken-nights, and I get home from a party and find that instead of the already late 3am I'm getting home at 4am? That's totally sucky. Spring forward is for suckers.

Party Time, Excellent

The night tonight went by fairly well. We all went out to Harmony for dinner and then came back to the house where Kevin and Gleen and Allen went out to hang out with Chris Bundy at his Hotel room. Don't get me wrong, I like hanging out with dudes, but there was a free-beer/chips/dip party near the house and that's what Erica and I did. It's one of those fundamental divides between me and the rest of society. Given the choice between paying too much for drinks at a smoky bar and not, I usually choose not. We did pay a little for the drinks we had at the party (It was a benefit for "homes-not-jails" and we met some interesting people. Erica talked to some dude from SF-bay about circumcision, which is a weird conversation to enter in from after returning from the bathroom, but it was cool. We hung out, and drank this great punch made from a case of Beast-Lite, half a gaallon of Vodka, lemon and lime juices, and kool-aid and it tasted fantastic. I have no idea how much I drank, but I'm fairly well off. The walk home did a good job of sobering me up a bit and Kevin and Gleen are sleeping at Chris's hotel room, so that means that Erica and I can walk around naked whilst Kevin and Gleen enjoy the forbidden pleasures of anal sex. Hooray!

In the end, losing felt right

I'm not sure I was made for the drunken lifestyle. last night I woke up at 6am feeling like I was going to puke (But really I just had to pee since I drank 2 glasses of water before bed to keep me unsick). Tonight, I have no idea what to expect. Wish me luck!
I don't expect problems, but hey, this IS america.
