And so closes another chapter in American History...
Well, after 10 months of pure pleasure, I'm going back to work. The position I've landed isn't as close to home as I'd like, and isn't as Electrical Engineering related as I'd like, but it's a 3-month contract and it pays well, so I can just walk away at the end and not worry about being stuck in a life-sentence. It's the AutoCAD job, and I'll be moving people throughout the Northeast USA so I doubt there'll be people bribing me for prime cube-space, but a boy can dream can't he? The $13/hr research assistant job looked like it might be fun, but it was a year-long endeavour and it looked like if I bailed 3-months-in the guy would be screwed, and I hate screwing nice guys. So, I took this AutoCAD one in Sprint's 'real-estate' division, and we'll see how it goes. I guess this is growing up.
What you can do to plan for your future:
No need to worry actually, because I'll still be blogging away. I'm still doing revisions to VirtualJoel and the amount of work I'm putting in should greatly enhance the experience, hopefully making him more and more playable. Of course, it's you, the people, who help guide what Virtual Joel should be doig, so don't be shy, let him know, folks, let him know! That means click on the text to send Virtual Joel an email giving explicit directions on how to better himself. Emailing Virtual Joel is a lot like praying, or any other means of contacting a Deity, in that you'll never know directly if it had an impact, but you can be sure he heard you. Right?
